Maryvale and Alhambra were built out mostly from the 1950s through the 1980s, some of the original tract home pools in the entire valley. A lot of these are small plaster pools, original steel or older fiberglass equipment, sometimes with more than one repair already behind them by the time we get the call.

Estrella Village, Starlight Park, and Palo Verde Estates carry the same story with pools ranging from decades old to more recently redone. There is very little HOA presence in most of West Phoenix, which means more variation yard to yard in how a pool has been kept up, and more homeowners managing it entirely on their own.

We do a lot of honest triage work here. Sometimes that means a drain and acid wash brings an old pool back. Sometimes it means telling a homeowner straight that a 40 year old heater is done and a new one will save them money over another repair. Either way, you get it in writing.
