FAQ
Questions we hear on the route.
No script, just what people actually ask before and after they sign up.
Do I need to be home for my service visit?
No. Most of our customers are at work while we clean. We work out gate and yard access at signup, whether that is a code, a lockbox, or a side gate left unlocked on your service day. You will always know we were there from the report we leave behind.
What day will you come each week?
You get a set day, confirmed when you sign up, and we stick to it. If a holiday or a truck issue ever moves your visit, we let you know first instead of just showing up whenever.
Do you bring the chemicals?
Yes. Chemicals are included in full service, and we bring what your pool needs that week based on the readings we take on site. You are not billed separately for chlorine, acid, or the basics.
What happens during monsoon season?
Dust storms and summer rain push a lot more debris into West Valley pools, so July and August visits usually run longer just to net and vacuum properly. If a storm leaves a pool buried in leaves and dirt beyond what a normal visit covers, we will call you before doing anything that costs more than your regular rate.
Why is my pool green even though I shock it?
Shock alone does not fix a green pool if the filter is not running long enough, the circulation is weak, or the underlying chemistry is out of balance. Algae needs the whole system working together, not just a jug of chlorine dumped in once. That is usually what a green pool recovery visit is actually fixing.
Do you service pools with a salt system?
Yes. Salt systems are common across the West Valley and we service them the same as chlorine pools, including checking the cell and keeping salt levels where they need to be.
What is in the report I get after each visit?
Every visit gets logged with your chemical readings, what we added, and photos so you can see the pool was actually serviced, not just billed. It is the same documentation whether you check it once a month or every week.
How does billing work?
Billing runs through our customer portal, where you can pay by card or ACH and turn on AutoPay if you would rather not think about it. You get an invoice on the same schedule every time, no surprise line items.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Service is month to month, not a locked in contract. If it is not working for you, tell us and we will stop, no long cancellation runaround.
Do you do one time cleanups?
Yes. Green pool recoveries, pre party cleanups, and one off filter cleans do not require signing up for weekly service. Plenty of one time customers do end up switching to weekly once they see what it takes to keep a pool looking right.
Do you service commercial pools?
Yes. HOAs, apartment complexes, and other commercial properties are part of the route. Details and how to request a bid are on our commercial pool service page.
How do I pay my bill?
The fastest way is the customer portal, where you can pay by card or ACH, turn on AutoPay, or see past invoices any time.
What if something breaks during a routine visit?
If we spot a pump, filter, or equipment issue during a regular visit, we tell you what we found and quote the repair in writing before doing anything beyond the routine service. We do not run up a repair bill without your say so.
How much notice do you need to start service?
Most new customers get their first visit scheduled within the week. Call (602) 538-7338 or fill out the form on our start service page and we will find the soonest day that fits your route.
